We are currently in search of a Key Account Manager specializing in the Financial Services vertical. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of establishing strong relationships within complex accounts, resulting in substantial sales revenue contributions within the UK & Ireland region. This role will involve working with Axway's on-premises and SaaS solutions, alongside Professional Services billing. Additionally, the focus will be on both expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers. To achieve these goals, Axway's array of solutions around Managed File Transfer, B2B Integration, API Management, Marketplace, and the Amplify Integration will be available.

The successful candidate is expected to manage a portfolio of five to ten key accounts within prominent FSI clients, particularly in the Irish market. They should already have an existing Axway footprint and possess the ability to expand and enhance the portfolio's capabilities to meet evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Local and Regional management to develop a strategic Key Account plan and drive client expansion within selected accounts.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem and strategic partners to deepen Axway's presence in specific verticals.
  • Define sales strategies for complex IT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Axway policies for data security and equipment usage.
  • Enhance Axway's footprint with key customers by addressing their needs and pain points.
  • Build strong relationships with key executives in new accounts.

Specific Key Account Focus

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on Account Based Marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize channel partners to explore additional revenue opportunities within Key Account divisions.
  • Provide insights on strategic channel partners to expand Axway's solutions through partner SI's and ISV's.
  • Specialize in Key Account activities within the Financial Sector, considering the global nature of these accounts.
  • Expertise in Digital Transformation, user-centric solutions, e-commerce, API management platforms, and integration solutions.
  • Familiarity with technologies like Google (Apigee), CA(Layer7), MuleSoft, SAP.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing relationships to secure alignment at technical, business, and executive levels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in software or application software sales.
  • Self-starter with a strong passion for success and effective time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve results.
  • Must exude gravitas and credibility when engaging with clients.
  • Proficiency in Solution Selling Sales Methodology and structured planning.
  • Experience with on-premise & cloud/SaaS software solutions.
  • Preferably holds a relevant Degree level qualification.
  • Must be fully mobile across the UK & Ireland, with occasional European / Worldwide travel.
