Our client, a leading global company in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Complaints Coordinator to join their team in Dublin. This pivotal role involves managing product complaints within the Irish market, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards. You will act as the key liaison between local stakeholders and the Global Complaints Department, contributing significantly to the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Complaint Process: Oversee the full lifecycle of product complaints, from receipt to closure, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to EU legislation, HPRA guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all aspects of complaint management.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain detailed and organized complaint files for all reports received.
  • Communication: Promptly relay complaints to the Global Complaints Department and escalate critical issues to relevant local and global teams.
  • Customer Interaction: Collaborate with Sales teams to address product quality issues and respond to medical, technical, or clinical queries from customers.
  • Investigation Reporting: Review product complaint investigation reports and draft clear, concise letters for customers, summarizing investigation results.
  • Procedure Development: Assist in documenting and reviewing local procedures related to product quality complaints to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Audit Participation: Support and participate in both internal and external audits related to your responsibilities.
  • Support Compliance Activities: Provide assistance with Pharmacovigilance, Medicovigilance, and other compliance-related activities as directed.
  • Regulatory Team Support: Offer ad hoc support to the Regulatory team for various functional requirements and tasks.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a life science or pharmacy discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant Irish and EU legislation, regulations, and guidelines concerning product complaints and quality.
  • Computer Proficiency: Competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
