Your Role

As People & Culture Lead you will play an integral role in providing strategic-level leadership and direction to promote a positive work environment in accordance with Clear Strategy 's organisational objectives, principles, and best practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs that impact an employee's life cycle, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, culture, engagement, total compensation, benefit plans, employee relations, performance management, training & development, compliance, and workplace. You will be responsible for cultivating an accountable high performing workforce.

The role will be Dublin-based and will be a mix of working from home and working at our offices in Dun Laoghaire.

We are seeking a passionate, motivated self-starter with previous People & Culture experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work environment throughout the employee lifecycle, from first engagement in the hiring process, to employee development and growth, through to departures.
  • Responsible for driving a team-wide, high-performance culture in Clear Strategy.
  • Deliver and co-ordinate Clear Strategy's Induction Programme for all new employees.
  • Manage the design and delivery of Clear Strategy's Data Academy.
  • Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
  • Oversee individual performance management that creates space for reflection and learning; facilitates regular self-assessment and peer and manager feedback; and supports personal and professional development.
  • Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; execute a goal-setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the formal performance review and calibration process.
  • Manage rewards system and promotion process and criteria that recognize team members' performance, growth, and contributions, defining clear career advancement opportunities across the team.
  • Develop and oversee learning and development programs for the team overall and at the individual level. This will include the development of leadership capacity, interrelationship skills and technical skills.
Secondary responsibilities:
  • Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.

  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures and all legislative requirements and obligations;partner with Employee Relations and Legal departments to support investigations as needed.
  • Provide guidance and assist in the implementation of business restructures, workforce planning, and headcount modelling.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a competency framework and development pathways for the team
  • Spearhead and coordinate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging efforts.
  • Create and implement an administrative framework for the team in line with global best practices and HR legislation, applied consistently and equitably across the team, including refreshing and furthering implementation of a standard set of People Policies and Protocols.
  • Lead and manage investigations, provide guidance on disciplinary actions, and collaborate with managers to address performance concerns and employee complaints. Advise management regarding appropriate strategies to encourage consistent discipline, efficient productivity, and foster an environment that contributes to the overall success of the organization.
  • Work with employment attorney and managers on progressive discipline matters related to staff. Proactively advise and coach stakeholders on ways to effectively resolve employee relations and performance management concerns in alignment with company policy and legal requirements

  • You keep a pulse on what's coming and have knowledge on European and Irish employment legislation and policies.
  • You have past-experience working at a senior level on a People & Culture Team.
  • You are committed to your own professional development and demonstrate growth mindset.
  • You have excellent attention to detail, careful not to miss small pieces
  • You are committed to maintaining a high degree of personal integrity and confidentiality.
  • You are structured, dependable, and reliable: you are thorough, you can keep deadlines, and you are very well organized (nothing falls through the cracks, but you are also able to adapt to last minute or unexpected changes/requirements).
  • You have strong emotional intelligence and are comfortable managing conflicts when they arise.
  • You are comfortable leading organization-wide change processes and culture initiatives from design to execution.
  • You have a deep sense of how to support organisational wellbeing.
  • You are flexible and like to be in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, problem-solve, are proactive, responsive, and think beyond the task at hand.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Human Resources Management preferred; certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise a plus, including coaching certifications. Undergraduate degree most likely business, human resources management, change management, industrial/organizational psychology or similar.
  • Background of 4+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner in a high-growth company and a total of at least 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, as either a generalist, people leader, business partner, or human capital consultant.
  • Work experience: 5-10 years working in an international human resources management role at a social enterprise, a strategic consulting firm, or similar.
  • Prior experience supporting and working in a Tech environment is preferred, particularly in support of engineers, data scientists, and/or data security functions.
