About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Human Resources team for a HR Risk &Regulation Associate. In the role, the successful candidate will:

  • Ensure the Davy Group's compliance with the Central Bank of Ireland's (CBI) Fitness & Probity (F&P) and Minimum Competency Code (MCC) regulations at onboarding, when an employee changes role and annually.
  • Maintain the HR Risk Register, carrying out control assurance testing quarterly and reporting findings to the 1LOD Assurance Forum.
  • Ensure all HR Risk Events are reported in a timely fashion and following up on remediation plans and actions.
  • Maintain of the Davy Group Remuneration Staff Registers, i.e., Sales Staff, Relevant Staff and Identified Staff and preparing memos for the relevant Executive/Board Committees.
  • Support the HR team in completing EBA and CBI remuneration returns.
  • HR support for embedding and compliance with the CBI's Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) obligations.
  • Be a point of contact for all risk and regulation queries for HR, escalating where appropriate.

Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills

  • Graduate calibre; HR, Legal, or Risk Management qualification would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in financial services, within a HR/fitness & probity advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of HR or regulatory operational processes, with a strong interest in and understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of remuneration regulation for Financial Services advantageous but not essential
  • Demonstrates good understanding of risk and risk management
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping multiple tasks at differing stages progressing in a controlled manner
  • Strong analytical skills, together with excellent levels of data input and accuracy, and strong regard for confidentiality and data protection
  • Experience in enhancing operational processes to simplify and reduce complexity / identify pain points in user journeys and driving through changes to remove these
  • Excellent MS office skills, in particular PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Ability to acquire and apply new skills and adapt to new systems quickly and effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good judgment and the confidence to interact with colleagues at all levels
  • A flexible team player who will apply a customer-focused approach whilst promoting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
