KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – FMCG

An excellent position has arisen for a Key Account Manager with one of Ireland's leading FMCG businesses. This role offers an excellent salary, generous bonus, health insurance, 22 days annual leave, and pension. It features a hybrid working model of 2 days per week working from home.

The role offers fast-track progression, mentoring, training, and the opportunity to work in a vibrant culture.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, as a Key Account Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing relationships with key multiple retailers and supporting the delivery of commercial plans. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and account management and a passion for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will drive strategic partnerships, innovation, and long-term customer success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the relationships with Key Accounts
  • Drive the promotional planning cycles internally for your assigned Accounts
  • Work closely with the NPD team to develop the correct range and formats to deliver growth for your respective customers
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, collaborating with demand planning and production teams
  • Develop and support the negotiation of Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA) with key retail and convenience customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth and represent retailer stakeholders internally

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years sales and customer management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • A genuine passion for people, problem-solving, and driving results
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills
  • Sharp commercial instincts
  • Resilience, curiosity, and a growth mindset
  • An entrepreneurial mindset; thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take ownership of challenges
  • Full clean driving license
