Senior Employee Relations Leader

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Employee Relations Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and conduct issues.
  • As a key member of the HR function, you will work closely with business leaders to resolve complex employee issues, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic advice on employee relations matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution of complex cases.
  2. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and line managers to develop and implement employee relations strategies, driving business outcomes and improving workplace culture.
  3. Manage restructuring projects, ensuring seamless consultation processes and minimizing disruption to business operations.
  4. Support the development and implementation of employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and best practice across the organization.
  5. Facilitate employee relations investigations, providing expert advice and support to investigating and hearing managers.
  6. Monitor employee relations trends, providing insights to inform proactive interventions and drive continuous improvement of employee relations processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working at a senior level in a fast-paced employee relations function, preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and Irish Employment Law, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Previous experience managing complex cross-jurisdictional employee relations cases, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to think strategically.
