Project Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Galway. With clear career paths and a great reputation, this role offers exciting opportunities for professional growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sustain high-level project delivery and drive excellent service delivery to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct background research, data collection, and similar exercises.
  • Identify best-in-class innovation and apply it to projects.
  • Produce clear and concise project briefs, reports, and programmes.
  • Schedule and plan projects effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and design teams, representing the highest level of professional integrity and mannerism.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing delivery of projects.
  • Manage project costs, including fee drawdowns and non-construction costs.
  • Draft strategic project documentation, including briefs and procurement strategies.
  • Prepare RFPs and compile tender lists, checking and analysing tenders and drafting tender reports.
  • Deal with change control processes and negotiate less financially significant matters.
  • Draft monthly reports and develop project handover, defects management, and close-out procedures.
  • Manage lessons learned workshops and enhance market profile, identifying growth opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering/PM/Construction Management Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with an ability to produce clear and accurate project reports.
  • Experience in developing and analysing project programmes using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Ability to chair project meetings and produce accurate meeting minutes.
  • A good understanding of Statutory Consents and Building Control Regulations processes.
