Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinery Safety Specialist to join our team in a leading medical device manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for all applicable equipment and machinery.

  • Develop and implement LOTO procedures
  • Conduct LOTO risk assessments and energy control analysis across the facility
  • Collaborate with EHS, Maintenance and Production teams to ensure LOTO compliance with OSHA and ISO standards
  • Lead training sessions on LOTO policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or regulated industry
  • In-depth understanding of LOTO procedures and machine safety standards
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and automated machinery
