- As a desktop engineer, you will be responsible for supporting trading teams in our Dublin office.
- This is a demanding and varied environment that covers all windows desktop issues, PC builds, software installs, troubleshooting 3rd party and in-house built applications issues, working on Dublin and global projects.
- 3+ years of experience providing desktop support for software and hardware systems.
- Strong working knowledge of peripherals, printers, graphics cards, hardware experience (KVM switches, multiple screens setup).
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows desktop OS Win 10 64bit, Win 11.
- Ability to monitor and diagnose desktop issues, make changes to the system registry for configuring the Windows operating system.
- PowerShell scripting would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and creative.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
