
Investors Liaison

At Web Summit, we are seeking a skilled and ambitious Investors Liaison. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business and finance, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with investors and industry leaders.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with our investor team and help us identify and engage with leading decision-makers in tech across the globe. You will be responsible for managing relationships and helping investors maximise their engagement before, during and after our global events.
You will oversee and maintain an active and up-to-date database of attending investors and prospects in Salesforce, collaborate with internal teams to create and implement lead-generation strategies, and have the exciting opportunity to experience our global events in-person.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and engage with innovative funds, influencers and industry leaders to ensure attendance at our events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, from partners at esteemed funds to emerging early-stage firms, covering various sectors, industries and geographies.
- Oversee and maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of attending investors and prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement lead-generation strategies to achieve goals and drive process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, e-commerce, or similar field.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly on the phone, and the ability to engage any audience.
- Ideal experience: background in consultancy/finance or experience with startup funding and venture capital.
- Strong analytical mindset and keen interest in account management and business development.
- Passionate about analytics, processes, building relationships or acquiring new clients.
- Ambitious, driven, and willing to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
