
Expert Technical Support Specialist

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced technical support specialist to join our team in Dublin. This is a permanent role that requires at least 5 years of experience in desktop support, managing level 1, 2, and some 3 issues.
The successful candidate will work in a demanding and varied environment, covering Windows desktop issues, PC builds, software installs, troubleshooting 3rd party and in-house built applications, and working on Dublin and global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first and second-level technical support by collaborating with software development teams and system architects.
- Skilled in handling complex issues through a structured ticketing system.
- Proactively assess and refine support processes, contributing to the development and deployment of necessary tools and runtime environments.
- Coordinate with internal IT support teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues in real time.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support roles.
- Technical expertise across Active Directory, 365, SCCM, and high-end hardware support.
- Experience in a trading company is highly desirable.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows desktop OS, including Win 10 64bit and Win 11.
- Ability to monitor and diagnose Desktop issues.
- Ability to make changes to the system registry for configuring the Windows operating system.
- PowerShell scripting is an advantage.
- Experience working with SCCM is an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of O365 products, especially MS Excel.
