Job Overview:

We are seeking an international sales and marketing professional to join our team in Tokyo. As a Global Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business investment opportunities from the Japanese market.

Your primary responsibility will be to target and win Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Growth Stage companies in Japan, as well as established companies from sectors including Financial Services, Advanced Engineering, and the Green Economy.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Ireland's economic development and work closely with C-Level Executives in leading global companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with target companies from Japan with the potential to invest in Ireland and win investments aligned with IDA strategy and targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior executives within selected target companies and build a strong pipeline of future investments from the market.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to influential C Level executives, business groups, and networks across the market to promote the advantages of Ireland as a location for FDI.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in international B2B Enterprise Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within a corporate environment.
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English, with the ability to conduct business negotiations in both languages.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
