Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for leading a team and providing strong support to the Head Chef.

  • Lead a team and provide strong support to the Head Chef
  • Provide training to chefs
  • Assist with compiling menus
  • Maintain strong HACCP and Health & Safety standards
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and be aware of cost control and wastage
  • Ensure a productive team atmosphere and flexible working hours
  • Take full control of the kitchen and team in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Oversee ordering and deliveries for smooth operation

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Strong HACCP and Health & Safety knowledge
  • Flexible in working hours
  • Positive attitude and outlook
  • Knowledge of kitchen day-to-day operations
