Job Title:
An Administrative Support Specialist is required to provide IT services and support.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering ICT services, equipment, and facilities to users. This will involve providing second-level support for specific ICT services, with first-level support as needed.
The role requires the ability to identify, log, verify, and resolve service-related incidents. Collaboration with fellow technicians is essential to ensure timely incident resolution and service request fulfilment in line with agreed service levels.
A strong understanding of core academic and enterprise ICT services and systems within the educational institution is required. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Microsoft applications and users, including proficiency with Microsoft Admin Centre, Active Directory, and Azure AD.

- Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure timely incident resolution and service request fulfilment
A minimum of three years' experience in the delivery and support of IT services is required. Proven ability and commitment to develop, maintain, and follow service documentation and standard support procedures are essential.
Demonstrated capability to work independently, with effective planning, prioritisation, and decision-making skills is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is preferred. Strong understanding of core academic and enterprise ICT services and systems within the educational institution is essential.
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft applications and users, including proficiency with Microsoft Admin Centre, Active Directory, and Azure AD, is required. A proven track record of delivering IT services within a structured environment, including experience with operational support, monitoring tools, and established processes, is necessary.
