Strategic HR Leader

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive human resources strategy, aligned with the organization's long-term objectives. This role involves leading organisational design, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.

  • Providing strategic input into operational planning, budgeting, and workforce development.

  • Overseeing employee benefits, entitlements, and performance management systems.

You will also be responsible for managing investigations, disciplinary processes, and ensuring documentation of work practice breaches. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Other key responsibilities include leading recruitment and selection processes, overseeing training and development initiatives, and implementing a Learning Management System (LMS). You will also champion the use of HR data analytics to support workforce planning and continuous improvement.

Furthermore, you will promote diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing initiatives. You will facilitate employee engagement through forums, union meetings, and internal communication channels. You will also support change management and foster a culture that values performance, innovation, and empowerment.

Requirements
  • A minimum qualification at level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
  • Full membership of an appropriate professional institute, such as the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD).
  • A minimum of 5 years satisfactory experience in a senior human resource management role.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of employment law, HR systems, and best practices. They will have demonstrated ability to lead strategic HR initiatives and manage change. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
