Job Title: Collections Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.
About UsOur company is a leading Irish wholesale food supplier and distributor. We partner with trusted local and international producers to cater to a diverse client base, including hospitality, catering, healthcare, education, and retail sectors.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments;
- Track payments and follow up on overdue accounts;
- Process customer payments and credits accurately and efficiently;
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies;
- Liaise with sales and other departments to ensure alignment between financial records and customer activity;
- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems regularly;
- Provide reporting on receivables, outstanding balances, and customer payment trends.
