We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Safety and Compliance Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and Implement Safety Protocols: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety protocols to prevent injuries, illnesses, and incidents within the workplace.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Train and Educate Employees: Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and Report Safety Metrics: Monitor and report safety metrics to management, including incident rates, injury frequencies, and other relevant data.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Power industry.
- Qualifications: Hold a recognised SHEQ qualification (Level 7/8) and a recognised training qualification.
- Skills: Excellent literacy, numeric, and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Data analysis and reporting skills are also essential.
