We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Lead to spearhead our hotel's business development strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the Irish hotel industry, specifically within a busy 4-star property.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the team.
- Design and implement effective brand and sales strategies for the property.
- Analyze and identify new markets in line with the overall hotel sales strategy.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team on selling techniques and monitor their performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to optimize hotel bookings and availability.
- Participate in revenue meetings as required.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for the department.
- Develop and implement goals and strategies for the department.
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts.
- Sell hotel rooms, conference facilities, food and beverage services, and other hospitality offerings.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and data from the Sales and Marketing team.
- Oversee public marketing activities for the hotel.
- Manage and produce marketing materials.
- Develop social media strategies to support marketing and sales efforts.
- Plan and execute on-site promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the Irish hotel industry within a busy 4-star property.
