Operational Performance Improvement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Performance Improvement Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence across our production system.

In this role, you will work closely with leaders and sites in your region, providing direct, hands-on support of activities and coaching leaders.

With expected travel of 50-75%, you will have the opportunity to interact with diverse sites and teams, developing strong relationships and influencing decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute performance improvement plans, working closely with Functional leaders, Plant Managers, and their leadership teams.
  2. Influence and align improvement objectives with division priorities, focusing on long-term sustainable performance.
  3. Create Lean management and people development processes, empowering areas to operate the continuous improvement system efficiently.
  4. Manage end-to-end processes and projects, driving results and realizing business benefits.
  5. Analyze and improve business processes using various tools and techniques.
  6. Teach and coach Lean skills, transferring knowledge to Lean Leaders.
  7. Manage teams, mitigating risks, allocating resources, and ensuring timely project completion.
  8. Build trust, develop relationships, and collaborate effectively with internal and external clients.
  9. Recognize and mitigate barriers, acting as an intermediary across divisions, geographies, and cultures.
  10. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, challenging the status quo.
  11. Mentor others on communication and active listening techniques.
  12. Lead process analysis, observation, and capacity analysis, identifying waste and opportunities for improvement.
  13. Apply DMAIC methodology and statistical analysis to solve complex problems.
