Project Commercial Lead Role:

A Project Commercial Lead is responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a project, ensuring that all requirements are met through the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage interface with Client Team
  • Procurement including Sub-contractors
  • Conduct cost and risk analysis
  • Review incoming correspondence to identify contractually critical items
  • Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors
  • Provide project costing reports
  • Manage project change order procedures
  • Provide monthly valuations and certificates

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Mechanical or Electrical experience
  • Proven working knowledge of current contract law

Deliverables:

  1. Monthly commercial reports
  2. Cost and cashflow projections
  3. Contract variations and claims management

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
