Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Specialist to join our Dublin-based team. This role involves leading technical efforts, partnering with stakeholders, and developing innovative solutions that meet high standards for customer satisfaction, ease of use, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in implementing modern web technologies and ensure collaboration among UX, PM, QA, and other engineers.
  • Promote best practices and contribute to choosing the most suitable technologies to evolve our tech stack while delivering world-class applications.
  • Champion quality integration and unit testing as part of our software development process.
  • Provide design feedback and participate in code reviews to guarantee implementation meets requirements.
  • Ensure all work is delivered with quality and receive timely support in production.
  • Mentor other team members and leverage cutting-edge AI tools to enhance the development workflow, improve velocity, and pioneer new approaches to building.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8+ years experience in Java or Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/Typescript (We use React).
  • Must have experience at staff level, leading large-scale technical projects.
  • Excellent cross-team communication skills on complex technical topics.
  • Proficient with NoSQL and traditional databases.
  • Experience with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. React, Typescript).
  • Proficient in Software Development best practices (Code Quality, UnitTest, BDD).
  • Experience delivering high-quality, reliable services to production.
  • Passionate about building great software.
  • Prior experience with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, or microservices is beneficial.
