Job Overview

This role involves servicing commercial loans outside of the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debt servicing: Calculation of debt service, delivery of billing letters, remittance reports, and application of waterfall structures.
  • Surveillance: Review of compliance certificates, calculations to confirm covenant adherence, review and analysis of property monitoring reports.
  • Loan hedging: Management of loan level hedging investments.
  • Banking administration: Managing multiple international bank and borrower relationships.
  • Treasury management: Cash movements for multiple currencies over differing treasury platforms and time zones.
  • Proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with various teams to ensure high service levels.
  • Anticipating issues that may affect portfolio performance and taking action to reduce risks.
  • Leading special projects and proposing process enhancements and automation.
  • Developing internal and external relationships to achieve proper service levels.
  • Reviewing policies and procedures for consistency across regions.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience in commercial mortgage, real estate, or finance.
  • Prior experience in commercial loan servicing, including billing, interest rate calculation, accruals, and waterfall accounting.
  • Background knowledge of electronic banking and treasury methods.
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg a plus.
  • Prior experience with Blocked/Charged accounts or KYC/AML a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under challenging time frames.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with various counterparts.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and exceptional time management.
