Hotel Porter Role

The hotel industry is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring skilled individuals to ensure seamless operations during non-peak hours. As a key member of the overnight staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel.

  • General supervision of the hotel overnight following handover from management.
  • Reception duties – check-ins and check-outs.
  • Cleaning duties in public areas.
  • Porter responsibilities.
  • Conference and function room setup.
  • Supporting the food and beverage department.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a night porter in a 3- or 4-star property.
  • Previous experience with front office systems is desirable for efficient check-ins and check-outs.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety and health regulations relevant to the role.
  • Availability to work required hours.
