Job Title: Workforce Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workforce Coordinator to oversee the management of human, financial, and material resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective direction and coordination of these resources.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administration: Develop and maintain an efficient financial and accounting system, prepare accurate financial returns, manage creditors and general ledgers, participant payroll, bank account, and PRSI returns.
  • Ensure timely payment of Participant Allowances and secure cash/equipment.
  • Implement and maintain an effective time keeping record system for participants on project.
  • Produce high-quality report writing and reporting skills.
Training & Development:
  • To fully participate in the Supervisor Development Programme.
  • Carry out Identification of Learner Needs process with each participant on the project as part of the Individual Learner Plan process.
  • SOURCE and cost-effective training/development opportunities to meet identified needs.
  • Prepare an Individual Learning Plan for each Participant for submission to DSP within agreed timeframe.
  • Implement approved training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain training records for each participant on the project as part of their Individual Learner Plans.
Human Resources:
  • Plan and co-ordinate work schedules for participants through the project.
  • Communicate effectively with all participants on the project using Team Meetings and individual formal and informal one-to-one meetings.
  • Develop mutual understanding with participants regarding their needs and backgrounds.
  • Deal with disciplinary matters related to participants.
Person Specification:
  • Major Award at 3rd level (QQI Level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management or related disciplines is desirable.
  • Previous supervisory and people management experience relevant to post (3 years minimum).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, with high level of ICT Skills such as MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Payroll and MS Word.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, articulate and assertive, with ability to work independently and as part of team.
