HR Generalist – French Market Job

The position involves overseeing human resources operations for employees based in France, and assisting the manager with a range of tasks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing HR support to employees in France, including managing employee relations, administering payroll, and handling legal cases.
  • Reviewing and implementing changes to payroll in accordance with French labour regulations.
  • Managing daily interactions with employees and union representatives.
  • Preparing cases for local court proceedings.
  • Offering guidance and advice to management on HR issues, such as grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Reporting weekly to the HR Manager on key HR matters.
  • Traveling to France as required for employee meetings, union negotiations, and site visits.

A minimum of 1 year's experience working in HR, specifically dealing with French employees and/or French labour law, is required. The ideal candidate will also have fluency in English and French, an HR degree or higher qualification, and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
