Systems Engineer and Test Configuration Specialist

This role involves setting up and reviewing in-house test systems within a multi-disciplinary environment.
The primary responsibility is to configure test equipment and work in the Lab to enhance skills by reviewing requirements and verifying functional and performance tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure test equipment in the Lab.
- Review requirements and verify functional and performance tests.
- Work in a multi-disciplinary environment to evaluate both hardware and software in-house test systems.
Requirements:
- A Degree or HNC (with significant experience) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or Engineering with knowledge of test plan & test case creation.
- Experience in a relevant engineering industry or similar Test/Lab engineering role with the ability to use signal generators/oscilloscopes and multi-meters, read BOMs and wiring diagrams, and work with PCB boards with attention to ESD safety.
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to plan, present and report on complex data.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
This is a contract position working in a major manufacturing firm in Lisburn.
