Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Care & Development Manager to oversee the growth and management of our team of carers in assigned areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of carer on-boarding, rosters, training, and overall welfare.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient and effective management of carer on-boarding, carer rosters, carer training/development, and overall carer welfare.
  • Deliver Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training to ensure carers are prepared and trained in advance of providing care.
  • Monitor daily activities with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance using One Touch Care Management software.
  • Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding scheduling runs, client care, and HSE communication.
  • Take responsibility for identifying, monitoring, and managing training needs within the team by implementing a career development path in line with the HR strategy.
  • Ensure client quality assurance reviews are carried out and recorded in line with Platinum Homecare and HSE standards.
  • Flexibility to take responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care.
Requirements:
  • QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills or higher
  • 3-5 years' experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
  • Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organised and process driven
