Cluster Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary
The role of the Cluster Administrative Support Specialist is to provide operational support to a cluster of schools in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with school principals, managing substitute lists, and assisting with funding applications.
Key Responsibilities
- General Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with cluster schools, including school visits and cluster-wide initiatives.
- Administrative and Operational Support: Manage substitute lists, assist with funding applications, and maintain/updating systems like Aladdin and Google Workspace.
- Resource Management: Audit and manage shared resources, coordinating procurement of ICT tools and other materials.
- Financial Oversight: Assist principals with budget monitoring and coordinate cluster-wide procurement strategies.
- End-of-Year Review and Future Planning: Conduct cluster reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Strong IT proficiency in MS Office, experience with Aladdin and Google Workspace is desirable.
- Working knowledge of GDPR.
- Some knowledge of the Irish education system.
