Adventure Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adventure Manager to lead and manage our Adventure Department, ensuring safe, successful, and profitable operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective systems and strategies to drive the success of the Adventure Department.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, performance, and development of the Adventure team members.
  • Oversee and deliver high-quality training standards while maintaining qualifications in specialist activity areas.
  • Plan and oversee outdoor activity programs for guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Ensure all safety regulations, risk assessments, equipment checks, and incident records are meticulously maintained.
  • Monitor weather and environmental conditions to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Work closely with senior management to collaborate on compliance, insurance, and cross-department initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in various outdoor activities, with at least two relevant instructorships (e.g. RCI, CWI, ERCA).
  • Up-to-date First Aid certification.
  • Previous management experience in a similar adventure/outdoor role.
  • Desirable: A third-level qualification in business management, outdoor education, leadership, recreation, or sports-related discipline.
  • Hospitality or adventure industry experience.
