We are seeking a skilled Scientific Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific writing and be able to effectively communicate complex ideas to various audiences.
The Scientific Writer will be responsible for preparing and finalizing scientific documents, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, and regulatory documents. This includes collecting and evaluating data from multiple sources, functions, and regions, as well as planning, writing, editing, reviewing, and coordinating the publication of scientific data in peer-reviewed journals and forums.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal English skills, with experience in medical, scientific, or technical writing fields. They will also possess clinical pharmacology, therapeutic area, or other medical and scientific knowledge specific to the hiring area, as well as project management and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize scientific documents, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, and regulatory documents.
- Collect and evaluate data from multiple sources, functions, and regions.
- Plan, write, edit, review, and coordinate the publication of scientific data in peer-reviewed journals and forums.
- Ensure key data and strategic narrative elements are included in documents.
- Conduct quality checks for accuracy, collate reviewer comments, and prepare final versions.
- Work with teams to ensure smooth document development and escalate issues as necessary.
- Advocate for authorship criteria and manage relationships with vendors and alliance partners.
- Provide oversight on individual deliverables, including timeline management and issue management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health, communications, or technology-related field.
- Demonstrated experience in verbal and written English skills in medical, scientific, or technical writing fields.
- Experience writing regulatory, clinical trial documents, and/or publications.
- Clinical pharmacology, therapeutic area, or other medical and scientific knowledge specific to the hiring area.
- Project management and time management skills.
