The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the product range, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

A well-established business in the plastics manufacturing sector seeks an experienced account manager to become part of their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing Irish and European key accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on European market expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports for customers and senior management.
  • Build a thorough understanding of the product range to effectively upsell and cross-sell.
  • Negotiate cost price adjustments and distributor contracts.

 

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in account management within a similar industry (plastics, manufacturing, or distribution desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and deliver business growth.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and pricing strategy.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a strong team player.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Full, clean driver's licence.
