WTW Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) is now one of the leading wholesale providers of insurance solutions to the broker market in Ireland.

We provide a broad range of services and solutions to thousands of clients, ranging from small businesses to the largest multinational corporations, which include risk assessment, risk management and advisory, risk transfer and placement, and claim advocacy.


The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Account Executive for our offices in Limerick, Cork and/or Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention of clients and new business development.

You will manage and develop client and Willis Towers Watson relationships and grow portfolio within the business unit and will be responsible for targeting and converting prospects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the clients' business and their insurance / risk placement needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships within client entities and the business community.
  • Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required.
  • Liaise with clients and insurers and build strong relationships.
  • Engage early in the renewal process to ensure high quality service and account management.

Job Requirements
  • Three years or more experience working as an Account Director/Executive or similar role with Insurance Broking.
  • Preferably educated to degree level.
  • CIP qualified at a minimum with ACII as an advantage.
  • Willingsness to travel to other locations as required.
  • Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service.
  • Practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim.
  • Experienced knowledge of insurance markets in order to deal effectively with client and company needs.
