About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Growth Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic growth, achieving exceptional guest experiences, and building long-lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and securing new business opportunities across all owned segments for our hotels.
  • Collaborating with senior sales professionals to ensure objectives are achieved in our Sales business plan.
  • Representing our hotels at sales team meetings, internal customer-led events, and external conferences as required.
Customer Facing - Owned Segments:
  • Executing a proactive sales strategy to develop and nurture new accounts across all owned segments for our hotels.
  • Identifying and managing new opportunities in your market in line with our hotels' strategy and across our wider portfolio.
  • Collaborating with Account Management Teams to nurture existing and secure new opportunities following our sales process.
Planning & Forecasting:
  • Collaborating with senior sales professionals on rate strategy, budget planning, and forecasting for owned segments to identify opportunities that align with our hotels' business strategy.
  • Undertaking monthly corporate tracking of corporate accounts in our hotels to monitor production and identify any decreases, taking necessary action to remedy.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a similar position in the hospitality industry.
  • An effective communicator with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with a focus on sales and results-driven performance.
  • Strong negotiating skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships through account management and cross-selling.
  • Experience of working with global clients and agencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local markets is desirable.
