Warehouse Operations Manager

I am partnering with a client to find a seasoned professional to oversee the efficient management of warehouse operations. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure timely and accurate handling of stock and deliveries, and maintain a clean, safe, and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a warehouse team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Plan and organise daily workloads, deliveries, and team rotas.
- Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, including container unloading and stock management.
- Ensure accurate stock control, cycle counts, and annual stocktakes.
- Drive process improvements and support continuous efficiency initiatives.
- Handle team issues fairly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements.
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. They should have a proven track record of managing warehouses effectively, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
