Key Responsibilities for Operations Manager

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of a GastroBar, ensuring seamless customer experiences and driving operational efficiency.

  • Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, to maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise staff, creating schedules to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.
  • Customer Experience: Foster high standards of customer service by addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly, monitoring dining and bar areas to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Financial Management: Analyze sales reports and operational data to identify areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Marketing and Events: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote private dining, special events, and themed/seasonal events, overseeing the planning and execution of live music or themed nights.
  • Facility Management: Ensure a safe and inviting environment by overseeing security, maintenance, and cleanliness of the restaurant and bar areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (desired).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in GastroBar/Restaurant management, preferably in an Operations Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory control and cost management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
