Job Title: Payroll Administrator

About the Role:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong understanding of payroll principles and procedures, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless payroll execution, providing exceptional client support, and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll cycles for Ireland, adhering to local taxation, compliance, and labor laws.
  • Manage payroll data, including employee information, salary calculations, and tax deductions.
  • Respond to client inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing legislation and industry developments, applying knowledge to optimize payroll processes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in processing payroll cycles for Ireland.
  • Proven expertise in local taxation, compliance, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in using major enterprise-level payroll software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • A recognized local payroll qualification or certification.
  • Experience working with BrightPay Ireland is a plus.
  • Broader HR administration experience beyond pure payroll.
