
Administrative Support Officer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team in supporting the conservation of Northern Ireland's coasts and seabird populations. This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the programme, ensuring seamless operations and effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated administrative support to the programme team, including financial processes, travel arrangements, event management, and equipment maintenance.
- Support the project manager with diary management, drafting letters and communications, and organizing travel and accommodation.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, utilizing diplomacy and tact.
- Contribute to financial management and reporting processes, analyzing information as required.
- Deliver comprehensive project administration support for multiple large-scale projects.
Requirements:
- At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to read and understand complex information.
- Experience working with complex data and IT systems, including Excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant experience aligned to conservation and community engagement.
- Confidence in coordinating events, workshops, or facilitated discussions.
- Strong writing skills, with experience producing reports, communications, and other written materials.
