Job Opportunity

This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing corporate governance across the organization, providing strategic support to senior management and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

The position will focus on driving quality and timeliness in all governance processes while mentoring and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective corporate governance practices to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Advise senior management on governance matters, including best practices and emerging trends in corporate governance.
  • Organize and facilitate senior management meetings, ensuring that agendas are well-structured and that all necessary documentation is prepared and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on governance issues, risk management, and decision-making processes.
  • Maintain statutory records and minute books, ensuring compliance with filing obligations.
  • Maintain senior management terms of reference and delegated authorities.
  • Provide governance support on intra-organizational projects, including restructuring and capital reorganization.
Requirements:
  • University undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification essential.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment, with experience working in regulations/guidance issued by independent authorities.
  • Extensive experience in a governance role, with a strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
  • Proven ability to support and advise senior management effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
