Job Opportunity:

The Guest Service Representative role creates a warm and welcoming environment for guests, offering creative solutions to make unique celebratory occasions truly unforgettable. This position is the first point of contact in our bakery, serving an essential part in engaging and bringing joy to our guests, creating a memorable experience, and leaving a positive lasting impression.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Greet walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm, following established service standards to create a superior guest experience.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on cake distinction, size, and flavor profile options, pricing, promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
  • Suggest additional merchandise to complete a unique celebration.
  • Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system, inviting guests to join a loyalty program for special offers and exclusive rewards.
  • Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation by sweeping/mopping the floor, dusting/cleaning countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
  • Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a visually appealing presentation.
  • Assist in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Have previous customer service experience in a bakery, restaurant, or retail store (optional).
Work Availability:

Must have flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on changing business demands.
