Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Lead to join our Sales Team. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across all owned segments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Source and win new business locally and globally across all owned business segments.
  • Collaborate with the Area Director of Sales to ensure objectives are achieved in the Sales business plan.
  • Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer-led events as appropriate.
  • Adopt all available tools to support efficient ways of working including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools, and Solver.
  • Execute a proactive sales plan to develop and nurture new accounts across all owned segments for the hotels.
  • Identify and manage new opportunities in your market in line with hotels strategy and across the wider Dalata portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a similar position in hotels.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Be commercially aware with strong analytical skills and understand & identify business trends.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Sales focused and results-driven.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Able to develop and build long-lasting relationships through account management, and promote cross-selling into Dalata hotel group.
  • Experience of working with global clients & agencies.
