This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious chef to lead a talented kitchen team and maintain high culinary standards.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in Cork. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, food preparation, and service.
You will oversee the delivery of exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency, while maintaining excellent hygiene and HACCP standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, food preparation, and service
- Lead and motivate the team during busy service periods
- Oversee food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain excellent hygiene and HACCP standards
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role, with strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food.
A leadership ability with a calm, hands-on approach is essential, as well as knowledge of HACCP and kitchen health & safety standards.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment that requires a strong team ethic. The successful candidate must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
Requirements- 2-3 years' experience in a similar Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role
- Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food
- Leadership ability with a calm, hands-on approach
- Knowledge of HACCP and kitchen health & safety standards
