ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT MANAGER, AVIATION (EMEA) Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, is delivering low-latency broadband internet around the world.
The Starlink Enterprise Account Management team serves as the point of contact for Starlink's growing aviation customers from contract signature, through successful activation, ensuring all contract terms are fulfilled.
This is an individual contributor role that will manage large, complex aviation agreements.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter that has a passion for making customers deliriously happy, blazing new trails for Starlink enterprise customers, and realizing/growing revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned enterprise customers within the EMEA region and own the interface from contract signature onwards with emphasis on:Delivering impeccable customer service, including efficient acknowledgement and resolution of issuesBuilding strong relationships to identify requirements and manage expectationsRetaining and growing the value of accountsUtilize technical expertise and industry knowledge to assist and guide customers in achieving high levels of performance in the operation and maintenance of the Starlink system by monitoring, investigating performance and developing and implementing corrective actionsServe as a customer advocate; maintain a positive attitude in crisis environment, and must have the ability to work independently with minimal directionHelp implement airline and aircraft entry into service plans.
Provide training and guidance on issues related to operations, installations, maintenance, reporting and reliabilityMonitor fleet operational and performance status and responds to customer requests.
Researche company and customer data to resolve onsite technical and programmatic issues.
Assist with development of solutions to technical and operational issuesAs an extreme owner of assigned accounts, identify and successfully communicate readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to realize forecasted revenue on or ahead of scheduleIdentify, design, and lead implementation of system enhancements and automations to improve the internal and external system and process interfacesRepresent Starlink throughout region in our partners offices, regional conferences and events.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; OR high school diploma/equivalency certificate and 6+ years of professional business development, operations, engineering, or account management experience3+ years of professional experience in business development, aviation operations, engineering or account management3+ years working with customers to support a technical product or servicePREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Fluent in English with multi-lingual proficiency in ArabicWork experience in Doha with work authorizationAbility to interact with all levels within airline management on technical and account management issuesSignificant knowledge or experience in commercial and/or business aviation, satellite communications and program or account managementExperience working with the FAA, EASA, QCAA or other aerospace regulatory bodiesExperience managing multiple complex projects and delivering under tight deadlines and resource constraintsExperience building long-term and successful customer relationships demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skillsSignificant technical knowledge of Starlink or telecommunications in at least one key area: satellites, ground network, user terminals, or related technologyAbility to synthesize multiple unique requirements and suggest smart solutions, products, or featuresTrack record of demonstrating sound business judgement, evaluating alternatives, and making recommendations that were adopted and ultimately successfulAbility to negotiate successfully, especially after a contract is signedExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to craft and present professional presentations at all levelsAbility to manage execution of significant or complex contracts including initial intake, renegotiation of terms, and schedulesADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS: Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations shiftsMust be willing to travel to other SpaceX offices and customer locations as needed (up to 80%)
