About the role

Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, proud member of Benefact Group, seeks an experienced Office Administration Support to join the team in Dublin.

We are on the lookout for someone to provide essential office administration support to our underwriting team, ensuring top-notch customer service aligned with Ecclesiastical's commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide general office administration support, including:
    • Reception and phone coverage
    • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Offer administrative assistance to the Underwriting team by:
    • Logging new business inquiries
    • Conducting data entry tasks
    • Completing underwriting checks (e.g. flood, credit)
    • Managing workflow allocation
    • Preparing reporting templates and letters
    • Performing other administrative duties as required
  • Organize, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently to meet objectives and SLAs
  • Ensure data input accuracy and promptly address any quality issues
  • Identify and escalate anomalies in line with company policies
  • Develop strong internal relationships to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Act upon audit results to enhance performance and team effectiveness
  • Suggest enhancements to existing processes
  • Operate within regulatory guidelines and report any risks accordingly
  • Participate in project work as needed
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • Minimum requirement: Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Prior experience in data input
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Proficiency in IT applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
