The Sales Development Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for representing Cytiva ́s bioprocess service portfolio and is acting as the technical and commercial expert regarding service requests in all allocated accounts in UK, Ireland and Nordics.

This position is part of the Equipment Service Sales Organization, will be fully remote and requires a travelling activity of approx. 50%. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

· Build close and long-lasting relationship with customers' key opinion leaders on all service-related matters for Cytiva bioprocess hardware and identify technical trends to be able to offer next generation service solutions to Cytiva bioprocess customers.

· Be the technical consultant internally for Account Managers, Hardware Specialists, etc. on all service-related matters for Cytiva bioprocess equipment and secure revenue for your assigned territory by actively building a sales pipeline of bioprocess parts, contracts and billable services.

· Partner with Service Sales to develop a commercial offering that meets customers' needs and lead the technical and service-related discussion with customer Subject Matter Experts, hold product and scientific presentations and represent Cytiva at relevant conferences in your territory (UK, Ireland and Nordics)

· Take personal ownership of the complete sales process including complex commercial negotiations with customers on site especially for upgrades for Cytiva bioprocess hardware, if necessary, correspondence in a foreign language

· Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications

Who you are:

· Located in Ireland (Preferably) or UK.

· University degree in biosciences/biotechnology and/or Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biochemical engineering or biology, alternatively several years active hands-on experience in delivering bioprocess service to customers.

· Self-starter - able to manage time, organize and prioritize workload

· Excellent oral presentation and technical writing skills in English.

· Strong commercial acumen or willingness to develop the needed skills to develop sales opportunities up to successful closure.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· Understanding of Biopharma customers' needs and business drivers, using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies

· Working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities through successful execution
