The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a
Sales & Operations Specialist
to join their team.
This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong ability to support both sales initiatives and day-to-day logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Account Management
Follow up on inbound leads and conduct initial qualification calls
Pass qualified leads to the Sales Director for closure
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM
Manage and grow existing accounts through upsell and renewal opportunities
Logistics & Freight Management
Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure smooth booking and delivery processes
Regularly update freight rates for key delivery locations
Organize container bookings and manage related schedules
Supplier & Haulier Coordination
Act as a liaison between suppliers, hauliers, and logistics teams
Collaborate with on-site inspectors to ensure quality standards and accurate weights
Documentation & Recordkeeping
File and manage essential documents such as inspection certificates and shipping paperwork
Maintain organized records of loading photos and related documentation
What You'll Bring
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence in managing detailed documentation and processes
Experience in logistics or supply chain coordination is a plus
