Senior Business Development Specialist

Hospital account managers play a pivotal role in driving engagement and expansion across hospital accounts in Ireland, focusing on a cutting-edge portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage high-value relationships with hospital stakeholders, cardiovascular consultants, and clinical teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while maintaining exceptional customer service levels.
  • Deliver outstanding sales performance against national targets and key performance metrics.
  • Analyse sales data to inform actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly business plans.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, prioritizing key opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute targeted marketing campaigns and educational initiatives tailored to the Irish market.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing and contract agreements.
  • Provide strategic market insights to support business planning and national tender submissions.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, clinical geneticists, and lab operations to ensure seamless customer delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cardiology is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a strong track record of business development.
  • Knowledge or experience in genomics is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
