Strategic HR Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary HR leader to drive organisational success in Kilkenny, Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Manage the recruitment process, including onboarding and offboarding, to ensure seamless talent acquisition and retention
  • Support current and future business needs through employee engagement, motivation, and development programmes
  • Oversee and manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance and productivity
  • Maintain and develop pay plans and benefits programmes to attract and retain top talent
  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances, demands, or other issues effectively
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organisation at hearings
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in HR systems and records
  • Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to support informed decision-making
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of respect and inclusivity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certification is an asset)
  • 5+ years of proven experience in an HR role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
