Business Development Manager Roles at Our Group


As a Business Development Manager, you will guide and manage hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial results.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and win new business locally and globally across all owned business segments.
  • Collaborate with the ADOS to ensure that objectives are achieved in the Sales business plan.
  • Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer-led events as appropriate.
  • Adopt all available tools to support efficient ways of working including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools and Solver.
  • Customer Facing - Owned Segments Execute a proactive sales plan to develop and nurture new accounts across all owned segments for the hotels.
  • Identification and management of new opportunities in your market in line with hotels strategy and across the wider portfolio.
  • Cross-selling, referrals and sharing of leads.
  • Strategic approach for key segments of owned segments and identify opportunities to drive revenue and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working within a similar position in hotels.
  • An effective communicator.
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical skills and able to understand and identify business trends.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Sales-focused and results-driven.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to develop and build long-lasting relationships through account management, and promote cross-selling into our hotel group.
  • Experience of working with global clients & agencies.
  • The knowledge of the Galway market is desirable.
