Business Development Manager Roles at Our Group
As a Business Development Manager, you will guide and manage hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial results.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source and win new business locally and globally across all owned business segments.
- Collaborate with the ADOS to ensure that objectives are achieved in the Sales business plan.
- Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer-led events as appropriate.
- Adopt all available tools to support efficient ways of working including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools and Solver.
- Customer Facing - Owned Segments Execute a proactive sales plan to develop and nurture new accounts across all owned segments for the hotels.
- Identification and management of new opportunities in your market in line with hotels strategy and across the wider portfolio.
- Cross-selling, referrals and sharing of leads.
- Strategic approach for key segments of owned segments and identify opportunities to drive revenue and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working within a similar position in hotels.
- An effective communicator.
- Commercially aware with strong analytical skills and able to understand and identify business trends.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills.
- Sales-focused and results-driven.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Ability to develop and build long-lasting relationships through account management, and promote cross-selling into our hotel group.
- Experience of working with global clients & agencies.
- The knowledge of the Galway market is desirable.
