Bid Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Corporate Sales function, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional, tailored responses to prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Corporate Sales Managers to lead the RFP/RFQ process and leverage internal resources to define our Win Strategy and deliver compelling proposal responses
  • Lead the review of our existing repository of approved proposal responses to ensure accuracy and clear messaging of our credentials and track record of delivering outstanding foodservice product and service solutions
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts from other teams - including Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Operations and Marketing - to develop engaging, value-based messaging for our product and service proposition
  • Track and analyze key proposal metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas of improvement, and support data-driven decision making across the proposal process
  • Provide regular updates on the proposal development pipeline to senior stakeholders
  • Counsel team members on the ongoing development of high-quality, tailored proposal responses that meet the needs of diverse audiences

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Proposal/Bid Manager role
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to organize and lead multiple teams on simultaneous proposal response efforts
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to shift priorities and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across teams
  • Familiarity with key tools like PowerPoint, Smart Sheet, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Experience supporting sales strategies to improve the effectiveness of sales teams
  • Knowledge of the Foodservice industry
  • Experience working within a fast-growth company
  • Experience with Salesforce and proposal management software
