Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of residential projects, ensuring that all works are completed to a high standard and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.\
  • Liaise with and supervise sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure efficient planning and construction.\
  • Organise their own schedule week to week based on activities taking place on site.\
  • Support senior management to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.\
  • Work closely with design teams and architects to resolve technical issues during the construction stage.\
  • Assist with quality assurance, inspections, and health and safety protocols.\
  • Supervise works and check the quality of works to ensure they meet high standards.\
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.\
  • Be competent in setting out instruments and proficient in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination.\
  • Have thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.\
  • Hold a degree in engineering or related discipline.\
  • Have minimum 5 years' experience in an engineer role with a Main Contractor or Developer in Ireland.\
  • Experience with residential construction is essential.\
  • Ability to manage a team of engineers, working closely with architects and design teams, and supporting senior management.\
